Editing

Over the last couple of weeks, Tyler has taken the lead role in editing our title sequence however we have all had input into into the way the final title sequence should look. Tyler has used a variety of editing techniques and used many different effects in order to aheive our desired look for the sequence.

Many different tranisitions were used to make sure all of the clips fitted well together along with different filters to give the movie a gritty feel to it.

Here are a selection of possible fonts that we may use for our title sequence, i found them on Dafont.
We chose these as possible fonts as they fit theme of dystopia as they are distorted fonts.

On Tuesday we filmed scenes that go towards the narrative of our title sequence (a dystopian and oppresive government controlled world) and our scenes included a homeless man begging, a petrol bomb prop being thrown and a  scene of us setting up weapons that represents the protagonist getting ready to rescue his kidnapped daughter.

Overall It was a good day of filming the weather allowed us to get great lighting in our scenes and we got a lot of key parts of the title sequence filmed
Filming - 11/2/2015

Today we filmed a number of different sequences for the title seqeunce of our movie, Rise.
The filming was done on a DSLR included close up shots of props which included letters from the goverment and mugshots.

We used a Go Pro camera to record a point of view shot of a public execution however after filming when we looked back at the takes that the angle we shot at revealed lots of unwanted things in the background ruining the mise en scene of shot. We overcame this by re shooting in a different area where this would not be a problem.
